Using the best ingredients, Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium has created over 45 (and counting) delicious cake flavours and fillings (a few of which are listed below) which can be readily adapted to suit your palate and dietary needs. We also make great tasting gluten free, diabetic, vegan and eggless cakes.
No celebration or major life event, be it a birthday, anniversary, christening or hen do is complete without an edible centrepiece. Our bespoke and custom celebration cakes, novelty cakes, cupcakes, mini cakes and cookies are adorned with the most intricate and detailed edible decorations and taste as delicious as they look.
We have made cakes in the shape of handbags, shoe boxes, gift boxes and even 3D animals. Before making any celebration or party cake, we will ask questions around the number of guests attending the event, the recipients personality, favourite colour, interests. The more information you provide the better as nothing is too much trouble.
In the past few years, in addition to our beautiful cakes and cupcakes, we’ve also been receiving requests for specially designed Sweet/Dessert tables. We can provide a choice of sweet treats in the form of macarons/macaroons, apothecary jars of sweets, cake pops, cookies, meringues, bespoke chocolates; all colour coordinated to match any theme.
Due to the sheer diversity of our wedding cake designs and the bespoke nature of our work, the price of your wedding cake will depend on the complexity of the design and number of servings. Please call for a quote for your wedding cake and we will give you a quote. As a guide, cupcakes start from £4.50 each (minimum order 12) and cookies from £3 each (minimum order 24). We require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking once the design is agreed, with the remaining balance is due one month before the wedding.
The months of April to September tend to be our busiest times for wedding cakes, so we advise you to book your wedding cake at least 4 to 9 months in advance in order to avoid being disappointed. However, we have accommodated last minute requests in the past, so feel free to call and find out if we are able to make your wedding cake for the date you have in mind.
There is a delivery charge associated with the cost of the wedding cake but set up costs are free. We deliver within London, Hertfordshire and to areas within the M25. We’ve also had our wedding cakes delivered overseas! Delivery is charged according to the distance to the venue but you can also collect the wedding cake should you wish to do so.
We believe that every wedding is unique and we specialise in producing bespoke couture cakes which means that every wedding cake is different. The sheer diversity of our wedding cakes has made us very sought after by couples who are looking to create their dream wedding cake.
If you would like us to make your wedding cake, the first step is to call us and book an appointment to meet with Elizabeth for a consultation to talk through your wedding, and any ideas that you might have for your cake. The consultation is for up to three people and there us a fee of £20 which is deducted from the cost of the wedding cake should you decided to order from us. The fee includes 6 delicious cake flavours from our range of cakes and fillings.
